I have been getting work done on the truck so we are ready for are long drives coming up.

And I have been doing some big one day carvings. I did a maple bear in the 8 foot range in one day.

I have never done that before. yes I was a little sore the next day.

Yesterday I did a perched eagle and a leaf and vine tree that was 10+ feet.

We had a rainy start and some rain in the afternoon but we got her done.

Tomorrow we are driving to Wisconsin to get ready for the first competition.

Maybe we have to drive 9 hours to get to Jamie’s place. I hope to get an early start so we don’t get hung up in Chicago.
