February 3rd Japan has a festival for spring coming, Setsubun.
Aya and I meet up with her farther and niece and nephew at the local temple for celebration.
The temple people throw soy beans and mochi," a type of rice cake", into the crowd and everybody tries to catch them.
What a mad scramble. It was a lot of fun. Then they serve zenzai,"a hot sweet bean soup". This was very good.
Later we burned mochi cakes at home and ate them with suishi rolls.
Today we went to hit golf balls. My father inlaw,Kazuyuki, likes golf very much.
I hit the balls very well. Many over 300 yards! I surprised myself.
Still waiting for are little Freddy. Coming soon!
